Our History - Griffith Engineering

After 14 years working for a large electric utility, Roger Griffith founded Griffith Engineering in November, 1995. Our commitment to "being there" for our clients has resulted in consistent growth--in our scope of services, geographic locations, and markets. Listed below are just a few of the milestones in Griffith Engineering's history.

2003

Griffith Engineering designers began design on the largest project to date - the $12 million Mills Auditorium at the Gatlinburg Convention Center.
Became licensed to offer design services in the state of North Carolina.

2002

Griffith Engineering offices relocated to Jefferson City, Tennessee.
We expanded services to provide expert witness testimony.

2001

Became licensed to offer design services in the state of Virginia.

2000

Griffith Engineering was responsible for the design of the site utilities and guilding mechanical systems for Dolly's Splash Country, a multi-million dollar water park adjacent to the Dollywood Amusement Park in Pigeon Forge, TN.

1998

Griffith Engineering designed mechanical systems for projects which included Holiday Inn and Ruby Tuesday facilities.

1997

Roger devoted himself full-time to providing design services.

1995

Roger founded Griffith Engineering and began providing mechanical design services to clients in the East Tennessee area.
