Churches

Church and worship facilities present many unique challenges for HVAC designers. These buildings are typically only occupied a few hours a week. The system must be able to meet these high but infrequent peak loads quickly and efficiently. It must also operate quietly and have some method for controlling humidity during the off-peak hours of the week when the building is typically empty for long stretches. The building should have a zonal design which takes into account the infrequent use of the sanctuary area but allows for independent controls of other areas, such as offices and classrooms, which may be used frequently throughout the week. Staff must also be able to easily maintain the unit. Despite the complexity of the system, most churches are unable to have a full-time maintenance staff devoted to the upkeep of the mechanical systems. We have extensive experience meeting these challenges and would welcome the opportunity to use our experience to design an excellent environment for your worship building.
