Conference, Convention, Assembly, and Community Centers

Conference centers host many diverse events. It takes time to change the facility from one event to the next and this is an important factor when designing mechanical systems. The HVAC system must be highly flexible to meet these changing requirements. These facilities are typically too large and complex to be served by a single air-handling system. Multiple air handlers and integrated controls for the building management systems often provide the best system designs.

Community centers may be intended for many diverse purposes and type of usage. The Love Kitchen serves the community with meals and home economics instructions for children and teenagers, while the Corryton Community Center is half gathering place and half fire house. Our designers recognize the importance of evaluating each project individually to determine the unique goals and purposes for each.
