The Conference Center is actually an addition to our previous project-the Holiday Inn which is now considered "The Convention Center Hotel" in Manchester. The projects are physically connected but are independent structures with separate systems. The new convention center contains 14,000 sq. ft. of conference space and an additional 12,000 sq. ft. in support areas such as pre-function and office areas. Our designers specified HVAC units with the additional capability of dehumidifying the outside air using hot gas reheat coils to properly condition the large quantities of outside air required for convention areas. We also utilized zone controls to maintain proper comfort levels in conference and board rooms. The indoor pool area is conditioned with a Dectron dehumidification system.

Scott County Boys & Girls Club
New Facility
Oneida, TN

The 50,000 sq. ft. Scott County Boys and Girls club is one of the largest in the nation. Built by the Boys and Girls Club of the Tennessee Valley, the facility contains a gymnasium and large indoor pool as well as a cafeteria and learning areas for children ranging in age from kindergarten to teenagers. We designed large split systems to control the temperature in each section of the buildings. The outside air is treated and dehumidified with a central unit, using excess condenser reheat, prior to being distributed to each split system. Our engineers always enjoy working on projects for service organizations such as this.
